  19. DESCRIPTION

  21.  This patch enhances your workbench-tool ShowConfig.
  22.  
  23.  The patched ShowConfig will be able to use system shared libraries
  24.  to decode the manufacturer- and product ID of expansion boards,
  25.  so you can see what boards you have, just in case you forgot it.
  26.  
  27.  Supported libraries at the moment are the boards.library 1.0 and
  28.  the expname.library 1.6 which do similar things and are available
  29.  on aminet or other software-collections.

  31. USAGE

  33.  You can use the patched ShowConfigEnh as you used ShowConfig before.

  35. INSTALLATION
  36.  
  37.  You MUST use the supplied Install-script to enhance ShowConfig.
  38.  Just follow the instructions there. Your old ShowConfig will
  39.  NOT be overwritten.

  41. NOTE

  43.  The required 'Installer' tool is NOT included. You can find it on
  44.  your Workbench 'Install' disk, on aminet in 'util/misc/Installer*'
  45.  or on various CDs. Copy it to 'SYS:Utilities' or anywhere else,
  46.  where workbench can find it.

  48.  Do NOT use the new Installer 42.5 (supplied with the Amiga-Surfer)
  49.  because it contains at least one serious bug and can not calculate
  50.  required checksums for this installation.

  52. PROGRAMMERs NOTE

  54.  The docs for boards.library are wrong. They say that the result would
  55.  be 'True if both manufacturer and product are known. False if one of
  56.  them are not known.' but it is the other way round. That could also
  57.  be a library-bug, but who knows...
